Elztal & Simonswäldertal Tourismus GmbH & Co. KG was founded on 1 January 2000.
Its shareholders are the six communities of Biederbach, Elzach, Gutach im Breisgau, Simonswald, Waldkirch and Winden im Elztal. The region is located 15 km to the north of Freiburg in the south of the Black Forest. The company is responsible for marketing the attractive holiday region under the brand name “ZweiTälerLand” (literally: land of two valleys).
When it was founded, ZweiTälerLand Tourismus drew up a mission statement focusing on sustainability.
